Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the waitstaff by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting and have a passion for customer service.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests complete dish or leave to prepare for new customers.
- Assist waitstaff in delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, windows, and doors.
- Help with BOH duties as required, including polishing silverware, polishing glassware, and laundry.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Support events by setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests’ needs and responding promptly to requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bussing or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Riverside County Food Handlers Card
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor toward guests and staff alike.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed in the hospitality industry.
