Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Clean stalls and maintain a tidy stable environment.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for farm maintenance.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Supervise the handling of animals to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to feed, bedding, and equipment.
- Irrigate fields and maintain pasture areas as required.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Monitor animal health and report any concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care or farm work is not a must.
- Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance practices.
- Proficient in using hand tools for various tasks.
- A passion for working with animals and commitment to their welfare.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
