Responsibilities And Duties
- Identify and target opportunities for new business development.
- Manage individual accounts to achieve sales targets, gross profit goals and overall customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer needs and preferences to internal teams, including buyers, operations, sales and customer service.
- Troubleshoot issues during the shipping process, including the potential for personally delivering products when necessary.
- Keep customers informed about product availability, quality, and pricing.
- Stay updated on current market trends and conditions.
- Support accounts payable in collections as needed.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in food service.
- Proven track record of achieving strong sales results and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, promote products, and generate new business.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; daily travel within the assigned territory is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Associates Degree in Business.
