About the Role:
Since our inception in 2013, Farmbox Delivery has been at the forefront of promoting clean eating and supporting local farmers, ranchers, and producers. As a subscription-based company, we've successfully expanded our services throughout Texas, connecting our community with the freshest and cleanest produce and products available. In line with our growth and commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. Reporting directly to our CEO, Greg Hoover, this key position involves managing, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team, as well as implementing new procedures to boost our operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our promise of clean eating and robust support for local agriculture, ensuring our subscribers receive the best quality products consistently.

Responsibilities:
Day to Day Operations:
- Oversee staffing, training, and mentoring of the Production team to achieve and exceed performance metrics.
- Manage the entire box production process, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and our clean eating ethos.
- Work closely with Customer Care to ensure optimal communication with customers regarding their orders.
- Lead strategic decisions on pack line flow and operational support functions, focusing on safety and quality.
- Supervise warehouse closing procedures to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Implementing New Procedures:
- Draw on extensive experience to develop and implement new procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting our mission.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization.
- Ensure all new procedures adhere to the highest standards of food safety and warehouse safety.
Personnel Management:
- Evaluate and manage staffing needs and schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading the development and performance evaluation of the pack and prep team.
- Influence hiring and promotion decisions, offering insights into team performance and growth opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, with a strong preference for experience in the fresh produce or grocery sector, especially with a focus on local sourcing.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective operational procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills, detail-oriented, with an ability to effectively multitask.

Details of Position:
- Full-time, exempt position, reporting directly to CEO Greg Hoover.
- Located at our local warehouse.
- Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, plus a competitive benefits package including healthcare, PTO, and Farmbox credits.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable in both sedentary and physically active roles, and in a refrigerated environment.
