Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand English and can identify items on paperwork.
- Can communicate verbally with supervisors and associates.
- Must have the ability to be trained to use an electric jack safely.
- Must have the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded & transported to the necessary area.
- Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment: Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
- Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Constant walking throughout the plant picking and delivering products.
- Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
- Work in a damp and cold environment
- Bending, standing
- Willingness to work.
- Other job duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor.
