The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to:
Total Rewards:
- Provide support to management on Total Rewards strategies and best practices for talent retention.
- Assist in the development and implementation of wellness programs to promote Team Member health and well-being.
- Help implement and effectively communicate total rewards programs to employees.
- Provide support for weekly payroll processing, utilizing a working knowledge of the Workday Payroll system.
Benefits Administration:
o Educating Team Members on benefit options.
o Tracking enrollment completion.
- Administer Team Member benefit plans, including healthcare, life & disability insurance, and retirement programs.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact and operational support to the organization’s Benefits Broker.
- Partner with the Plant People Ops Team to equip them with the necessary knowledge to collaboratively resolve Team Member questions and issues.
- Provide guidance to Team Members on benefit-related matters.
- Administer leave of absence plans, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and legal requirements.
- Manage the benefit enrollment process for hourly team members, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Open Enrollment process in collaboration with the Total Rewards Manager and Benefits Broker, including:
o Educating Team Members on benefit options.
o Tracking enrollment completion.
- Assist with COBRA administration, ensuring compliance through the Company’s vendor.
- Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and collaborate with Finance/Payroll.
- Assist in resolving employee benefits issues, partnering with the Benefits Broker and vendors as needed.
HR System Administration:
- Conduct ongoing audits and quality assurance checks to maintain data integrity.
- Perform testing for software upgrades and other system changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
- Assist with the Workday system setup for annual open enrollment, including informational guides, plan configuration, rate updates, success testing, and deployment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or a related field.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of legal compliance and regulations related to compensation and benefits
- Familiarity with Workday HRIS preferred
