Customer Contact Center Rep

At Farmers Bank & Trust, we take pride in providing our customers with the very best in service, whether those customers are in our bank lobby or on the telephone. Lots of “call centers” leave customers wishing they didn’t have to call. We strive to be different!

Responsibilities/Duties
Would you find it fun and challenging to:
  • Be the first point of contact for our customers who call in, sometimes with only questions, but many times with account problems;
  • Help customers find the answers they need while protecting them from giving out information to other people who would misuse it;
  • Pay attention to the details that the customers give you, and ask questions if you need to verify further, to make sure each caller is who they say they are and that their request is legitimate;
  • When you are not able to help a caller, find the person in the Bank who can;
  • Build relationships with your phone customers so you can help them figure out which products and services will help them the most;
  • Having growth and advancement opportunities; and
  • On those days when you have callers who may be a bit testy, creatively figuring out ways to make their day!
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 12 months of experience in customer service or banking
  • Great communication skills
