Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding: Verify policy coverage, check bill accuracy, answer questions, and encourage client feedback by requesting reviews.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products or coverage that benefit the customer and meet their needs.
- Policy Servicing & Changes: Assist customers with policy changes, updates, and clarifications.
- Underwriting Communication: Collaborate with underwriting teams to address pre- and post-bind issues and provide clients with timely solutions.
- New Policy Validations: Ensure that new policies are correctly validated and all necessary documentation is in place.
- Incoming Call Routing: Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual based on the customer's needs.
- Executive Assistant Duties: Provide administrative support, including ordering lunch, greeting visitors, and arranging meetings for team members.
- Bad Lead Management: Follow up on and return leads that were not successfully converted, addressing any client concerns and working to re-engage them.
- Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in an office setting, preferably within insurance or financial services
- Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses in Texas
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and professionally.
- Customer-Oriented: A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to build rapport with customers while delivering solutions to meet their needs.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think on your feet when resolving customer concerns.
- Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is key, especially when managing policy information, billing details, and communicating with underwriting.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and phone systems.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently, from policy changes to administrative duties.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with colleagues across departments.
