Farmers Insurance located in Portland Metro is looking for talented and driven individuals to join our team of Insurance Agents. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our District sales team to identify opportunities for new customers, develop sales strategies, and promote our incredible products and services including auto, home, business and life insurance. If you have previous experience in marketing, business operations, sales, or management this may be the perfect role for you. Every day you'll be using your time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail to achieve sales goals and grow your business and your career.
About the position :
- Meet and exceed new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Generate insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
- Participate in training classes to hone your skills.
- Attend Networking and community events to build relationships with the public.
- Learn day to day skills of being a small business owner.
