Responsibilities
Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
Client Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
Policy Recommendations : Analyze clients insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
Sales Process Management : Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Collaboration : Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction.
Customer Service : Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the agency management system
Training and Development : Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations.
Requirement
Education : Bachelor degree preferred; High school diploma or an equivalent required.
Experience : Experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Licensing : Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty and / or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Missouri (or willingness to obtain one / both).
Skills :
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
