Position Summary: The Church Financing Lender/AVP/VP specializes in developing church loans throughout the nation as well as ongoing analysis and development of the church loan portfolio and products while connecting with the National Association of Church Design Builders (NACDB) and National Association of Church Business Administration (NACBA).
Essential Functions:
- Develops church leads through tradeshows, conferences, associations, and direct marketing.
- Analyzes potential church loans, underwrites, and prepares loan presentation and presents loan presentation to loan committee.
- Manages multiple construction projects, including managing budgets, draws, inspections, and site visits.
- Develops and cultivates relationships with church leadership of various denominations and non-denominational churches while being knowledgeable of these intricacies.
- Works with attorneys for approval of outstate loan documents as well as multiple states on title work and legal issues.
- Networks with builders, architects, fundraisers and consultants.
- Develops and maintains marketing plans, materials and budgets.
- Determines church rates for refinancing and/or building loans.
- Represents the bank in a capacity that is respected by church leadership teams.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
- 5 years lending experience in commercial and/or commercial real estate preferred.
- Well-developed knowledge on loan analysis, loan review and loan procedures and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other company software.
- Member of National Associations of Church Design Builders and National Associations of Church Business Administration preferred.
- Valid Nebraska Driver’s License.
