About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Banking Operations Specialist to join our team at the Farmers National Bank of Canfield. As a key member of our branch staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products and services.
Main Responsibilities
- Process Financial Transactions: Accept and process a variety of customer transactions at a teller window, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Recognize customer needs and recommend products and services to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service.
- Manage Cash Handling Systems: Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
- Promote Products and Services: Promote and sell bank products and services to customers, utilizing your knowledge of bank offerings and your ability to recognize customer needs.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) required.
- Cash Handling Experience: Proven experience in handling cash and operating cash handling systems.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge, with the ability to use a calculator, typewriter, phone, fax machine, and other office equipment.
