POSITION SUMMARY: Performs all Personal Banker duties and leads by example in production and service excellence. Assists the Commercial Lending Branch Manager in day-to-day operations and the maximization of customer relationships through sales and service.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Open and service a wide variety of accounts. Meet customer needs while cross-selling and referring other FSB services to enhance the customer relationship.
- Directly supervise Personal Bankers and Teller Supervisor. Ensures adequate staffing. Manage, coach, and develop direct report employees. Provide training and feedback. Set goals and evaluate performance.
- Coordinate with the bank's lending area in originating a variety of loans (HELOC, consumer, installment, residential). Interview loan applications and assist in the analysis of credit approval/denial. Process loan applications; handles loan closings and collection activities and has a personal lending limit. Maintain a quality loan portfolio, meeting bank prescribed objectives regarding loan growth, past dues, charge-offs and non-accruals.
- Assists the Commercial Lenders in providing a wide range of administrative responsibilities related to the making and servicing of commercial loans, including loan document preparation, file documentation and maintenance, report preparation, and scheduling appointments.
- Responsible for ensuring retention of profitable customers at the location. Develop and implement plans to call on maturing accounts, sales leads, referrals, new account follow-up, and other prospecting opportunities for the designated market area with an emphasis on maximizing profitable client relationships. Develop new business through weekly portfolio and non-portfolio calls. Track results and follows up as appropriate.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 to 5 years related retail banking experience
- 3 years lending experience
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of lending regulations and policies
- Thorough product knowledge
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to contribute in a team environment, ensuring that both individual and departmental goals are met
