Bartender

Responsible for providing a relaxing and welcoming environment to each and every guest. To always be professional and courteous.

Essential Functions:

• Treat every guest like they are your only one.
• Have a Guest First Attitude at all times.
• Strive to create an excellent restaurant and bar experience for our guests.
• Ensure guests are greeted, with a warm smile gracious welcome.
• Ensure special guest requests are communicated to the Kitchen and Bar.
• Prepare all drinks as requested accurately and timely.
• Memorize full cocktail menu.
• Work with the barback to restock bar.
• Be accommodating to guest allergies and special requests.
• Assist with clearing and resetting bar, as necessary.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries in a positive and friendly manner.
• Manage and resolve all guest complaints and problems in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
• Make your manager aware of all guest issues.
• Enthusiastically take your guest on a tour of the menu.
• Be able to upsell on sides, drinks, dessert etc.
• Engage with your guests, get to know them, invite them back.
• Complete tasks on daily checklist.
• Adhere to policies regarding handling cash handling.
• Reconcile all charges and cash received during shift and prepare drop. Have manager or supervisor sign drop.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Possession of government required licenses or certificates.
• Basic math skills and prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to:

· Handle many tasks at one time and work well under pressure.

· Work with minimal supervision.

· Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

· Work as part of a team.

· Communicate effectively.

· Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.

· Work any day of the week and any hour.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
