Host/Ice Cream Scooper

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented hosts and Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, seating and bussing tables, as well as serving delicious ice cream treats. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they have a memorable experience at our establishment.

Duties

• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts with a friendly smile and attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization , ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Assist customers in selecting their favorite flavors and toppings, providing recommendations as needed.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Promote special offers or new flavors to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette for taking orders or answering inquiries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
• A passion for ice cream and creating delightful experiences for guests is highly valued.

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
