Position Purpose:
The Marketing Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Farmina North America’s marketing initiatives by managing the development, sourcing, procurement, and distribution of marketing materials. This position ensures the seamless flow of product data, coordinates marketing assets for field teams, and maintains accurate inventory and cost tracking. Additionally, the role is responsible for running reports on marketing program reimbursements, assisting in backend operations of various marketing tools, and ensuring compliance with data accuracy standards. By facilitating smooth operations across retail, veterinary, and professional channels, the Marketing Operations Specialist helps drive efficiency, optimize resources, and support the overall success of Farmina’s marketing programs.
The individual in this position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager of Farmina North America and is responsible for tasks as outlined below under responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site in Reidsville, NC.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in material procurement and marketing operations.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Prestashop or similar CMS/ERP platforms is a plus.
- Design: Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software suites is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a knack for data-driven decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Material Development: Collaborate with internal teams on the development of marketing materials that support field sales and marketing initiatives.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and manage relationships with vendors for sourcing and producing materials such as but not limited to posters, leaflets, flyers, shelf talkers, POP materials, and displays.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the internal material ordering platform, Prestashop, including inventory updates, order fulfillment, and allocation to team members.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze and forecast current and future needs to ensure the availability of marketing materials.
- Cost Tracking: Monitor and report on item usage and team member orders to control costs effectively.
- Product Data Management: Own the product data details to share with key partners and vendors, including completing product setup forms and sending updated images.
- Reporting: Run monthly and quarterly reports on marketing program reimbursements for accounts.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate the transport of materials for various events and activities across retail, veterinary, and professional channels.
- Backend Marketing Support: Assist in managing the backend of various marketing programs, events, and tools to ensure a smooth flow of operations, data accuracy, and process efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to create new systems or revise established procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Perform other marketing operational responsibilities as required.
