What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banner Data Processing Assistant - LIEOC position at Farmingdale State College?
Farmingdale State College is seeking a Banner Data Processing Assistant for our Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC). The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with superior data entry skills. The Banner Data Processing Assistant will be required to work cooperatively with the heads of many functional areas to gather information, input data, and assess data accuracy. Additionally, the Banner Support Assistant will connect with students for self-reporting of progress toward goals which inform LIEOC metrics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately inputting data in Banner, including placements, certifications, and diplomas.
- Utilize Banner to process, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in student records to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff for information regarding employment, diplomas, and certifications.

Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Prior experience working in a data management system.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using Banner or another educational student data management system.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time UUP position.

- SALARY: $50,000 $3,400 in downstate location pay = $53,400 Total Compensation.
