- Title: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Farmingham, MA
- Duration: Full-time
- Onsite/Virtual: Onsite

- Working Hours: 35 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday
- Student Age Group: Middle and High
- Case Load: 8 kids
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Design and deliver differentiated instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and growth
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and progress
- Regularly monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and guardians
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to support a safe and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to provide coordinated and comprehensive support for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related meetings to discuss student progress and needs
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and instructional strategies
- Participate in school-wide training and development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to special education
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress, IEP implementation, and any required reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education
- Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional strategies for students with disabilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
