Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join the Farmington team. This role requires the ability to make general repairs and perform routine maintenance checks on Club equipment. With expertise in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning, reliability, and efficiency of the Club’s HVAC and refrigeration equipment as well as other Club infrastructure. Job Duties:

• Required to work some weekends as part of the maintenance team and be on-call and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain and make general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation system and building structure of the Club.
• Required to perform routine maintenance checks of other Club systems as part of a regular maintenance schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance through Facility Dude software.
• Use BAS system to monitor equipment status.   
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
• Calibrate and fine-tune system controls to achieve peak efficiency and maintain desired temperature levels.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and breakdowns, providing quick and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and address urgent issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Generate reports on equipment performance, highlighting areas for improvement or potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
• 2 years of experience in a related field, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Comfort working with planned maintenance and work orders
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Possess a current Virginia driver’s license
• Ability to climb up to heights of 25 feet
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
