What are the responsibilities and job description for the POOLSIDE GRILL ATTENDANT - SUMMER 2025 position at Farmington Country Club?
The Poolside Grill is a fast-casual family friendly restaurant responsible for serving members, their families and guests at the pool over the duration of the pool season. As a Poolside Grill Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering consistent, high quality service to our members and to their guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner. Our ideal candidate must be available to work an average 3 to 5 shifts a week, with shifts being 5 to 7 hours in length.

- Serve snack bar food efficiently, while maintaining side work duties;
- Maintain general cleanliness and safety of the kitchen, attendant service station, Poolside Grill patio, Poolside Water Stations, and pool deck areas;
- Greet members by name, and verify name and account number for every order;
- Be familiar with menu preparation and ingredients, and be aware of allergens as they may pertain to member safety;
- Settle checks quickly and accurately, develop working knowledge of Point of Sale System;
- Follow team checklists for set-up and clean-up duties, complete and report all weekly cleaning assignments to a manager for inspection;
- Maintain sanitation and food handling practices according to Club and health department standards;
- Maintain table cleanliness throughout shift;
- Advise supervisor about member concerns and suggestions to improve the member experience
- Make slushies, milkshakes, and scoop ice cream according to tickets in a timely manner
- Must be able to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds;
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully;
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to six (6) consecutive hours
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Available to work weekends
- Must work all 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) during peak pool season
