Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health Services oversee clinical practices for adult outpatient behavioral health services in New Hampshire. This role will focus on leading the integration of clinical services, creating an integrated clinical practice in Manchester, NH, serving multiple populations within ESNH service lines, and the development of a new outpatient Substance Use Disorder clinical practice in Franklin, NH at Easterseals Military and Veteran Campus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to ensure high-quality care, seamless clinical operations, and alignment with the organization's long-term goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement clinical strategies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and optimization of outpatient services.
- Serve as a key consultant to the executive leadership team, contributing expertise to organizational decision-making and policy development.
- Oversee the delivery of outpatient clinical services, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction across multiple locations.
- Ensure seamless operations of the clinical practice.
- Oversee the recruitment, supervision, and training of clinicians.
- Provide opportunities for supervision toward licensure for qualified employees.
- Cultivate and expand internship opportunities with colleges.

- Review critical incident reports and make treatment recommendations.
- Respond to critical incidents, as needed, including incidents that occur outside typical business hours.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Optimize resource utilization, including staffing, budget management, and technology deployment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., CARF).
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and risk management strategies to minimize adverse events and enhance care delivery.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and protocols to standardize care across outpatient practices.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within clinical teams.
- Facilitate effective communication between clinical staff, administrative teams, and executive leadership.
- Champion initiatives to enhance the patient experience, including access, coordination of care, and satisfaction.
- Address client feedback and implement strategies to resolve concerns effectively.
- Support the integration of evidence-based practices and innovative care delivery models.
- Manage budgets for outpatient clinical services, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve reimbursement, reduce costs, and increase revenue without compromising care quality.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop forecasts and strategic financial plans.
- Provide timely response to requests for clinical information from other care providers and state agencies.
- Work collaboratively with all other departments within the Agency to build communication, maximize resources and develop shared goals.
- Responsible for development and management of annual fiscal budget.
- Research and respond to RFPs that will assist with growth opportunities.
- Develop new business opportunities that align with the strategic goals of the Agency.
- Represent the Agency at a variety of committees and events.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or related field
- Holds license in the State of New Hampshire
- Five (5) years of experience leading diverse teams of professionals
- Five (5) years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health, substance use and/or intellectual disabilities
- Culturally competent to provide services to a vast array of individuals including veterans
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation: Starting $110,000 annually. Additional compensation based upon education, experience, licenses, etc.
Hours: This is a full-time, salaried position.
