Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our law office legal team and title company for real estate and business transactions.
Pay based on experience. We promise to try to be very competitive with pay offered by other employers.
Responsibilities
- Handle settlement of residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Prepare and track closing checklists and transactional documentation from purchase and sale agreements through completion of closing
- File and retrieve documentation from the Registry of Deeds and other governmental agencies
- Facilitate communication between parties to real estate and business transactions
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients
- Assemble closing information and prepare closing documentation
- Take direction from multiple attorneys and be able to shift focus regularly
- Administrative tasks including emailing, mailing, scanning, and electronic filing
Skills
- Ability to operate in a professional environment
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks with a strong understanding of legal terminology
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others or independently as needed
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and perform under pressure while maintaining client focus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
