Salary : $72,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE)
The Opportunity :
The Driver & Warehouse Supervisor, Lubes supervises the day to day operation of the warehouse and CDL Truck drivers. This position is responsible for providing materials, equipment and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing and distribution services.
Key Responsibilities :
Assists with all daily warehouse functions (shipping, receiving, pulling and consolidating orders, documentation of work). Oversee inventory processes, loading and unloading. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systemAssists all staff as necessary to provide an efficient operation.Evaluate and manage staff performance. Recruit and select Warehouse and Driver staff. Organize orientation and training of new staff members. Coach, mentor and discipline staff as needed.Dispatch equipment and drivers to fulfill customer orders. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.Submit ad hoc capital expenditure requests for equipment with justification to Branch Manager as needed or required.Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Communication with the HSE Safety Manger to ensure safe handling and movement of materials and equipment to the Worksite.Oversee rail car processes, ensuring unloading and loading are performed safely and efficiently.Assists in recordkeeping for trucks, equipment, and parts / products. Schedules preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinates repairs as needed.Adapts to schedule changes and is willing and able to cover for others in their absence.Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and / or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland US People Corp’s policy and procedure.Ensure that confidentiality of data collected and stored are maintained.Employee is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines. Employee is responsible for planning and carrying out assignments, resolving conflicts that arise, informing and coordinating with others as expected.Must meet performance expectations. Must complete all duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills :
Class A CDL with hazmat / tanker endorsements preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 3 supervisory experience3 years’ experience in the oil / lubricant fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsProficient verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyFork lift operationAbility to handle bulk oil deliveriesThe physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situationsHumble.
