This is a generalist marketing role that works closely with the lead marketer for Fashion Fair. The FF key marketing operatives are evolving as the business grows. Entering into its third year with newly launched formulations, FF is focused on generating brand awareness and increasing its overall community. Each quarter will be curated to ensure that the brand is coordinating with its existing retailers as well as ensure there is optimal growth of its DTC business.
The successful team will work efficiently, ask questions, pivot as necessary, pay attention to the marketplace and have a desire to do better than most. In other words, team members believe that FF is more than a makeup company – it is Black history.
This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, brand partners and retailers to strategize, capture, and execute 360-degree marketing plans that bring the brand to life.
The role will oversee and manage all aspects of asset creation from the development of an influencer strategy to partner management to social media asset development. The management of all assets will reside with this role. This will include working and giving direction to various individuals associated with the development of assets that reflect the FF brand.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with developing and executing marketing campaigns for company-wide initiatives, editorial, brand campaigns, and new product launches.
- Coordinate the workflow and communication between cross-functional partners in the planning, development, and execution stages of marketing campaigns by facilitating meetings, following up with partners, and providing creative solutions to potential roadblocks.
- Lead the development and execution of best-in-class organic social media strategy across all platforms. This includes platform strategy, content strategy, community management, campaign planning, and social calendars to support overarching brand strategies along with the consultant experts.
- Prepare executive summaries on available data related to e-commerce performance including data tracking yearly comparisons, insights, analytics platforms, and competitive landscapes to refine and improve performance continuously. Ensure partners are providing the brand usable data.
- Create an overall social media strategy that leverages influencers and consumer-made content seamlessly.
- Develop paid and earned influencer partnerships including sourcing influencers, contracting, managing receipt of deliverables, and all associated communication.
- Develop influencer content strategies and ensure relevance to current brand promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Consider other celebrities or partners that might leverage the brand properly.
- Development of partnership briefs and ensure all respective needs are clearly and effectively communicated.
- Analyze partnership results to determine success.
- Assist in producing and managing all experiential activations that support marketing goals and initiatives of external partnerships.
- Responsibly represent the brand and manage relationships with all influencer partners and talent managers.
- Manage influencer products and oversee the creative development process for personalized mailers (launches and always-on).
- Recommend social content marketing plans to be executed in partnership with influencers.
- Develop presentations to communicate influencer marketing strategy and plans with the purpose of getting buy-in from leadership and internal / external partners.
- Develop social media content calendar.
- Write copy for Email SMS.
- Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns (email, SMS, loyalty, social, etc.) and promotions to drive conversion to DTC websites and our retailer partners.
- Serve as the lead of the Social Media function setting strategy, ideating concepts across events, community and trend research.
- Implement strategies to grow audiences across all platforms (email, SMS, loyalty, social, etc.).
- Oversee the management of FF brand across social platforms (IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube).
- Track and measure KPIs (sales, number of affiliates, social metrics) tied to affiliate and loyalty programs.
- Grow the FF MUA and editorial community.
- Assist with developing marketing enhancement and communications to support retailers.
- Participate in Consumer Activations as well as develop potential experiential activation ideas in partnership with retailers.
- Ensure retailers have most current assets for their websites.
- Manage all brand digital marketing and social media campaigns in conjunction with Director of Media and Project Management.
- Provide guidance and opinions on potential AA media partnerships.
- Ensure projects are on time and challenges are raised in a timely manner.
- Manage external contractors (i.e., graphic designer) and others as required.
- Other projects as directed by the Director of Management.
