X-Ray Technologist Role Summary

As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care in a dynamic team environment. Your responsibilities will include operating X-Ray equipment, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring compliance with health regulations, all while fostering a positive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient intake and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Perform nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks.
• Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary action.
• Operate or oversee operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort during X-Ray Scans.
• Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
• Assist patients using a Virtual Medicine Provider.
• Complete patient charts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain friendly relations with clients and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
