University Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Come and join our team as a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time flex position of 36-40 hour / week at our outpatient imaging centers located in Knoxville, TN .
This position may require floating between locations (Halls and Hall of Fame).
Possible shifts are as follows :
Monday through Friday availability : 11 : 00am - 7 : 30pm / 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm / 7 : 00am - 7 : 30pm.
JOB SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Diagnostic Imaging technologist :
- Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

EDUCATION :
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Choosing the right imaging provider goes beyond cost. Having confidence in the expertise of the provider is also critical. Not getting accurate answers from the imaging exam may result in additional expenses or invasive testing which may delay early onset of treatment.
