- Assessing and diagnosing fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies
- Administering non-surgical fracture reductions
- Monitoring the healing process and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Performing joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections
- Administering intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound
- Applying casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions
- Ensuring proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts
