Maintenance Technician - Fast Track Stores

Fast Track Stores is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Gainesville, FL market! This dynamic role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the physical structures, equipment, and systems in our stores. Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance tasks and assignments.
• Complete required reports to document time, parts, and materials used.
• Perform preventative and basic maintenance on equipment including dispensers, POS systems, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, signage, and pumps.
• Inspect and calibrate equipment to meet legal and safety standards.
• Maintain company vehicles in a safe and organized condition.
• Collaborate with and recommend external contractors for complex maintenance issues.
• Train team members on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve underground storage tank (UST) system failures and maintain Class "B" UST System Operator Certification for assigned stores.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE CONVENIENCE STORE/GAS STATION MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Strong experience in refrigeration and HVAC maintenance required.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, pumps, or dispensers preferred.
• Refrigeration EPA 608 certification (or willingness to obtain).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and maneuver equipment weighing over 80 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability for on-call emergencies outside of regular work hours.
• Compliance with federal and state DOT regulations.
