What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at FASTBADGE?
Fastbadge is a manufacturer of name badges and interior signage. We’re hiring an entry level Shipping/Quality Control Clerk for our Slidell office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including detailed quality control, packaging and shipping items using Shipstation software & meeting firm deadlines.
Candidates will need to be self-motivated, able to multitask while also paying close attention to details and possess a very strong work ethic.
We are looking for candidates to cross train in other departments as needed.
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment that provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes group health insurance after 60 days and paid time off after 1 year. We also offer optional benefits through Aflac and optional IRA after 1 year.
Essential skills and experience for this position include:
- Computer experience. On the job training in our programs will be offered.
- Ability to communicate and interact with co-workers in an effective and professional manner.
- Organized, neat, methodical and thorough in performing tasks with emphasis on detail & deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation to/from work daily.
- Valid LA Driver's License
- Slidell, LA 70458: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Ability to work from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch
