OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Treasury Analyst, you will enjoy the opportunity of being responsible for a variety of accounting and finance processes related to treasury and cash management for Fastenal's world-wide locations. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Monitoring, planning, and forecasting related to domestic and global cash account positions and foreign exchange exposure
o Processing monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting activities of the general ledger and various subsystems
o Coordinating and managing cash transfers in multiple currencies and debt financing, as needed
o Supporting new business and global expansion with bank account set up and development
o Maintaining banking relationships, including optimizing banking procedures and communicating to resolve day-to-day issues
o Analyzing and coordinating communication with other departments to resolve issues identified in the reconciliation processes
o Analyzing and reviewing global bank account analysis statements to mitigate banking fees and transaction costs of treasury activities
o Identifying and implementing banking, system, and procedural enhancements and efficiencies
o Performing special projects, analysis, and other administrative tasks as necessary
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
o Possess at least 2 years of relevant work experience in treasury, finance, or banking industries
o Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Willingness to manage results driven projects while working with development teams through design, testing and implementation
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Previous experience using PeopleSoft systems and treasury tools, such as banking portals and treasury management systems

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $41,000 - 51,250. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
