We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead our human resources initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Generalist will align HR policies with organizational goals to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to hiring decisions.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as the primary contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Advise managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Manage payroll processing and administer benefits programs.
- Conduct market analyses to ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Performance Management & Training:
- Implement performance evaluation processes and provide coaching to managers.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- HR Metrics & Reporting:
- Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5 years in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Manufacturing Experience preferred.
