The Warehouse Associate – Incoming Receiving Nonconformance plays a critical role in managing the accurate handling of incoming shipments and identifying any discrepancies between received products and purchase orders (PO). This position ensures that all non-conforming products are properly documented, segregated, and communicated to the appropriate parties for resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Process Credits & Rebill Invoices in EPDS
- Process Orders & Paperwork in EPDS for Shipments
- Check Products and Paperwork Against the PO: Review all incoming shipments and compare products with the purchase order (PO) to ensure that the correct items, quantities, and specifications are received
- Verify & Document Shortages, Overages, and Wrong Parts: Identify and document any shortages, overages, or incorrect items received in the shipment, ensuring all discrepancies are recorded accurately
- Complete Non-Conformance Report (NCR): Prepare and complete a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) detailing the nature of the discrepancy, including photographs, part numbers, quantities, and any other relevant information
- Segregate Non-Conforming Products: Immediately move non-conforming products to a designated quarantine or hold area to prevent accidental use or distribution
- Communicate with Suppliers to Resolve Issues: Work closely with suppliers to address discrepancies in shipments, ensuring timely resolution through returns, replacements, or credits
- Request Returns, Replacements, or Credits: Coordinate with the Purchasing/Procurement department to request the return, replacement, or credit for non-conforming products based on supplier communication
Basic Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Warehouse experience is a plus
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Multitasking & Organization Skills
- Must be able to communicate in verbal and written form
- Must be able to work individually and as a team
