What are the responsibilities and job description for the CI Press Operator position at Fastik?
Join us in a fast paced printing factory in Tolleson, Arizona as a Press Operator! You will enjoy working with a great team, contribute to production with minimum supervision, and have Wide Web CI Flexo Press Operator experience.
Job Duties:
- Read job tickets
- Load materials, adjust settings and calibrate equipment
- Set up and operate printing presses to print materials and labels
- Mix inks according to specified formulas, ensuring accurate color matching and consistency
- Address any malfunctions or mechanical issues
- Quality control through accurate color registration, print clarity and overall print quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ink mixing area and storage spaces.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 years as a printing press operator: Wide Web CI is an asset
- Understanding of printing materials, inks and substrates
- Read and write English fluently
- Basic math skills, general computer knowledge
Other:
- Night Shift: 4 x 10 hour, weekdays 8PM-6AM
- Must be able to train on the 4X10 hour, weekdays day shift 6AM-4PM
