This role entails overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT Assets, including hardware and software licenses. We are responsible for managing all endpoints and the licenses within for all employees. This is a position that covers equipment purchasing, financial management and tracking, forecasting, vendor management, reporting, troubleshooting and working with internal partners to capture requirements for different areas of the business. Candidates should possess strong process and project management skills and experience.What You'll Do : Manage day-to-day processes and procedures to support ongoing operations of ITAM; act in the capacity of a subject matter expert to support ongoing ITAM projectsDevelop and implement an Asset Management system and process, experience with Jira Asset Management is a plusFacilitates the entire process from requisition through delivery and invoicingDuties are broad in nature and require the incumbent to exercise independent judgment related to assignmentsResponsible for implementation of continuous process improvements; partner with asset owners to ensure asset information is kept accurate and up to date throughout the asset lifecyclePrimary IT Procurement point of contact for all new and existing technologies and vendorsPlan and perform monthly inventory to make sure minimum levels are met and data is accurateForecast future computer purchase needs and potential spend to create finance models based on what needs to be purchased for the next yearWork with vendors, distributors, and manufacturers to keep current with hardware specifications, availability, and current trends in the supply channelPerform internal software audits to ensure software license compliance standards are metWhat We're Looking For : Minimum 5-7 years of recent experience with a strong understanding of IT Asset management lifecycle processes and toolsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferredPrevious experience of implementing an asset management system and process for support team to followProfound project management experience with small and large projects, in a cross-functional environmentStrong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plansExcellent verbal / written communication, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead as well as support an environment driven by customer service and team workProficient at establishing and maintaining effective vendor relationshipsAbility to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentialityStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to act independently with minimal direction from supervisorExhibit proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial forecastingWe'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these : Experience with JIRA Asset Management tool is a plusIndustry Certifications such as, ITIL v4, IAITAM Certifications (for example, CHAMP, CSAM, or CITAM), or PMPWork Hours : This position will require you to be available during core business hours.Work Locations & Travel Requirements : The preferred locations for this position are : San Francisco, CANew York, NYDenver, COFastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is $143,860 to $179,820.Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.BenefitsWe care about you.
