Fastware is a locally owned automotive hardware and fastener distribution company. We have been around for over 24 years and are looking to grow. Due to the demands of growth, we are currently seeking a high energy, organized and reliable team player to join our sales team.
Sales Representatives -Automotive Hardware
Position Summary:
Sales representatives are responsible for promoting the Fastware Inc product line, maintain accounts and cold calling new business within defined territories. Our unique concept brings our products to the customer making our sales representatives the face of Fastware Inc.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
· Sales representatives must possess the desire to increase sales and be able to cold call new businesses.
· Responsible for servicing current customer’s hardware and fastener needs.
· Develops and manages effective communications and strong working relationships with customers.
· Can get in front of decision makers, managers, and business owners to discuss our product line.
· Responsible for responding to and assisting customers with special order requests.
· Safely driving a fully stocked Fastware Inc. truck to customer locations.
· Responsible for all truck product inventory, sales and invoicing procedures.
· Continually learning and developing with changing automotive trends and product lines.
Candidate Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Must live within the boundaries of yours sales geography.
Qualifications:
Idea candidate should possess:
· Strong automotive repair experience/knowledge
· Demonstrate a positive, courageous and confident attitude about our business and customers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little to no supervision
· Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to work details.
· Demonstrate a sense of urgency to a relationship driven sales approaches.
Be computer literate to include handhelds, smart phones and syncing procedures.
Demonstrate the willingness to continually learn contemporary trends and new products.

Salary: $50,000 - $120,000. Guaranteed base salary, plus commission.
Position Compensation: Flexible work schedule, Company maintained vehicle, gas reimbursement, bi-monthly pay, 401K, uniforms and earning potential with no financial caps. Company assisted healthcare coverage, plus dental and vision options.
Experience Preferred, not required:
- Automotive parts background
- Successful outside sales experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Location:
Sales are is Tysons, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, Leesburg and surrounding areas. (salesperson must reside in the sales area, due to the nature of the position).
