The Combination Technician is a vital role in our organization, responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, this position ensures that all aspects of exchange operations are handled with expertise and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to service orders for installations, troubles, upgrades, removals, or changes to a customer's residential or business telephone or video service and equipment.
- Maintains residential and business services, including telephone, video, ISDN, Internet, wireless, DSL, FTTH, and all types of key systems.
- Ensures all FCC leak tests are completed on time and files written test results with the Company Engineer/Repair supervisor.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains customer and business carrier systems, voice frequency repeaters, and all associated equipment.
- Ensures that all work orders and trouble tickets assigned are closed out daily in MACC.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED along with a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic circuitry.
- Ability to work on-call duties when scheduled.
- Knowledge of FCC requirements.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
