Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with an overview of the dining options available.
- Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring that all guests are seated in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
- Assist with seating arrangements to optimize the flow of service and enhance guest experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for managing reservations and guest interactions effectively.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host/host area.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
