Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
- Setup and Operation of horizontal lathes
- Troubleshoot machine issues
- Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
- Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
- Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
- Observe all company quality and safety procedures
- Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
- Participates in Lean manufacturing events
- Team Lead(Optional):Oversee a team of machinists, provide technical direction, and manage projects.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in a relevant field or (5 ) years of experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience in setup, and troubleshooting of various CNC machines
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Great communication skills
