Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Administrative Coordinator for the College of Health Sciences, School of Nursing. The selected individual will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining files, and providing information to callers. This individual will also answer inquiries and obtain information for students, visitors, faculty, and staff. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month position.
Summary of Duties :
- Provide administrative support to the faculty and staff of the School of Nursing
- Serve as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff, and other University offices
- Track and maintain curriculum vitas and professional development for departmental personnel
- Provide support for School of Nursing admissions and recruiting functions
- Maintain database of current students and graduates; filing system for department records
- Assist in compiling departmental academic schedules, scheduling classes and classrooms; input, maintain and track schedules
- Assist with proctoring tests
- Supervise student workers
