WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (AKA THE FUN STUFF):
- Lead the Crew: Inspire, guide, and support our team of Shop Technicians and a Parts Assistant— helping them perform at their highest level.
- Keep Things Running: Schedule repairs and preventative maintenance for all company assets — from trucks to heavy equipment to facilities.
- Be the Coach: Train and develop your team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solve on the Fly: Handle unexpected breakdowns or delays with a calm, solution-oriented mindset.
- Track & Tackle: Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and usage for all assets.
- Inventory Mastermind: Manage parts inventory and build strong relationships with vendor partners.
- Efficiency Expert: Always be on the lookout for ways to streamline processes and cut costs without sacrificing quality.
- Facilities Pro: Oversee building maintenance — coordinating with HVAC, plumbing, and other vendors.
- Safety First: Ensure all repair activities comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Communicate & Collaborate: Work closely with other departments to coordinate repairs, minimize downtime, and keep everyone informed.
- Live "Freddie’s Fundamentals": Lead by example and promote the core values that drive everything we do.
