JOB SUMMARY:
The General Service Technician performs tire retail services, multi-point vehicle inspections, and diagnostic services in the retail center of our Fausak Tires & Service store location.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
The General Service Technician performs tire retail services, multi-point vehicle inspections, and diagnostic services in the retail center of our Fausak Tires & Service store location.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, and repairing.
- Perform oil changes, check, and add vital fluids.
- Service and install car batteries.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Inspect belts and hoses.
- Inspect and replace wipers
- Replace air and cabin filters
- Maintain a professional appearance and keep the work area tidy, organized, and clean
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Speak, write, read, and understand English
- Learn and retain service guidelines, technical information, and specifications.
- Sit, stand, bend, and stoop, often for prolonged periods of time, and be able to maneuver or crawl in awkward positions on occasions.
- Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions
- Have the strength and motor skills to handle small tools and parts; .
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior experience in automotive repair (preferred)
- Have basic computer skills.
