Title: Bilingual Wellness Coordinator
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Occupational Health
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week – Mon-Thurs. 8:30am-4:30pm
Pay: Starts at $25/hr and increases based on experience plus benefits!
The Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for but may not be limited to:
•Organizes and implements comprehensive programs and activities to support employees’ mental and physical health.
•Promotes wellness and fitness initiatives in the organization; answers questions & collects feedback from participants.
•Designs, plans, and implements classes, speakers, seminars, personal training, and voluntary fitness assessments to promote healthy lifestyles.
•Assists employees with personal concerns and assessments; provides recommendations and referrals for counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment.
•Drafts and maintains accurate, confidential records and reports as required to track and assess employee participation, program incentives, costs, and benefits to the company.
•Assists with preparation and implementation of wellness budget, policies, and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field required.
•3-5 years of counseling, employee assistance, or health education experience required.
•Bilingual in Spanish is REQUIRED.
•2 years prior experience in health and wellness, wellness coordination, fitness, personal training, athletic training, nursing, PT, OT, or PT assistant preferred.
