A start up home health company located in Kansas City, MO is currently seeking a RN Director of Nursing to join their team full-time.
Title : RN, Director of Nursing
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Home Health – Nursing Management
Location : Kansas City, MO (Brookside area)
Schedule : Full-Time, Mon-Fri, days (at this time there is shared weekend on call)
Pay : $75,000-$90,000 based on experience (to start) with full benefits package
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for a start up home health company that services Jackson, Platte and Cass counties. This DON will work in an administrative capacity but help out field nurse on rare occasions as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development & patient base growth, achievement of key performance indicators, and people management / development.
- Supervises the clinical staff
- Ensuring services meet applicable Federal, State, and local laws regarding the certification and licensure process at all times
- Long-range planning, fiscal viability, and quality of car
- Recruits, interviews, and hires staff and monitors quality care and organizational performance.
