Director of Nursing
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication across departments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage the department budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to nursing care.
Experience:
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve patient care outcomes.
