Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dental office front staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and service.
- Manage scheduling for patients, including appointments, follow-ups, and treatment plans.
- Oversee billing processes and aging report, including pre-authorization, insurance claims and patient payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain patient records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, policies, and training needs.
- Assist in fiscal management by monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial reporting for the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the dental office environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a dental or medical office setting is required.
- Proficiency in electronic dental health record systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is required.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers effectively.
- Knowledge of dental fiscal management principles related to dental operations is a plus.
