What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Afternoon Assistant position at Fayetteville Montessori School?

We are looking for dedicated, reliable assistant teachers to help in our classrooms. Our Afternoon Assistants are a key part of our school as they are responsible for taking care of our children from 1pm-6pm.
We have openings working with kids ages 1 year - 1.5 years old. Must have childcare experience.
*YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY-FRIDAY 1:00-6:00 PM*
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher with creating a nurturing and educational environment.
- Assist with teaching students.
- Help students learn, develop, and communicate.
- Collaborate with other assistants and faculty to develop ways to enhance or improve the educational experience for students.
- Create a positive and educational atmosphere for children.
- Attend and engage in meetings for faculty and staff.
- Ensure the classroom is clean and welcoming to students and parents.
- Comfortable changing diapers and the ability to be patient.
Requirements:
- 1 Year Experience in Child Care with Children.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess exceptional organization skills, be detailed oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Be an effective communicator and active listener
