Description of primary duties and responsibilities: |
Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit: The mission of Information Technology Services is to explore, implement, and support the uses of technology to achieve the University's academic and administrative objectives as stated in the University strategic plan. Primary Purpose of the Position: The IT Communications Specialist plays a critical role within the Division of Information Technology Services (ITS), serving as a key member of the Learning Technologies & Engagement Services Team. This position is responsible for leading the strategic development, coordination, and distribution of all IT communications, ensuring that complex technical information is translated into clear, accessible messages for diverse audiences. By fostering effective communication, the IT Communications Specialist enhances user engagement, promotes IT initiatives, and strengthens the overall impact of ITS services across the institution.
