Duties
Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
Teach online classes as needed.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Recruit students into programs.
Advise and register students.
Monitor and improve student retention.
Assist in the design and update of course syllabi, curriculum review, revision and development.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.
Keep accurate records.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Teach online classes as needed.

Master’s Degree in Sociology or Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in Sociology. Coursework must show SOC or similar prefix. Educational Sociology or Counseling Sociology prefixes are not acceptable.
Must possess computer skills necessary for successful job performance; good oral and written communication skills. Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered for this position.
