Contributions to Faztek's Development
Externally with stakeholders:
- Financial reporting and transparency: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing stakeholders with clear insights into Faztek’s financial health.
- Regulatory compliance: Oversee compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards, mitigating risks and maintaining corporate integrity.
- Banking and investor relations: Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and investors to secure favorable financial terms and support business expansion.
Internally with teammates:
- Leading the Finance team: Build and lead a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and financial excellence.
- Collaborating with the CFO: Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and execute financial strategies that align with Faztek’s business objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across departments—including Sales, Operations, and Procurement—to ensure financial alignment and efficiency.
- Process improvement and automation: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and leverage technology to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Expected Goals & Necessary Attributes
- Financial accuracy and integrity: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of all financial transactions and reports.
- Budgeting and cost control: Oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
- Cash flow management: Ensure effective cash flow management, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term financial stability.
- Risk management: Proactively assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
- Performance analysis and strategy: Track key financial performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations to improve overall business performance.
Experience & Qualifications Required
- 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller with a proven track record in financial leadership.
- 10 years of experience in accounting, with deep expertise in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and drive strategic decision-making.
- Attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership and communication skills to manage, mentor, and develop the Finance team while effectively conveying financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Technology proficiency, including experience with financial software, ERP systems, and automation tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
