Job Title: Event Sales Associate

At FB Society, we have a Passion for People and are looking for an outgoing, motivated Event Sales Associate to help us fill our events calendar. We are looking for someone comfortable with event planning.
Reporting to the Director of Group Sales, the Event Sales Associate will drive private event and group sales for Sixty Vines, Mexican Sugar and Whiskey Cake. The sales associate will be responsible for converting inbound inquiries and leads into exceptional booked experiences for clients and guests. This team member will be focused on achieving overall company revenue goals and successful collaboration with Operations to achieve 100% guest satisfaction. The primary responsibility is to drive sales through brand right sales strategies for all inbound leads including email, phone and referral.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales to established target goals by location / market.
- Develop and execute quarterly game plans to meet period, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Analyze sales weekly, monthly, quarterly to identify opportunities and track growth. Proactively share sales challenges with recommended plans to address gaps with leadership team.
- Convert maximum number of inbound leads to booked while enhancing brand perceptions.
- Build BEOs / Orders and confirmation of event details with clients. Negotiate prices when necessary and help clients with menu selection.
- Develop strong operations relationships.
- Communicate all relevant event information and changes to restaurant leadership in a timely manner.
- Consistently engage in account management with existing clients to maximize sales potential and increase frequency. This includes post-event follow-ups and routine account maintenance calls.
- Develop and maintain strong corporate customer relationships.
- Establish positive relationships with in-store teams to help identify potential leads.
Guest Service
- Manage Call Center & Call Center SOP’s
- Provide oversight and mentorship to Sales Admin
- Work to achieve a “5” with every event we execute by proactive communication
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years inbound/field sales experience required
- Special consideration to those with sales experience in restaurant catering or private dining
- Multi-unit sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to create and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and ability to achieve success while working autonomously
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies.
- Ability to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve challenges/issues, while considering the best interests of all parties; to develop and implement short and long-term solutions, and to apply effective problem solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues.
- Proven ability to shift and multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; adaptable to change
- Consistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude and professional demeanor
- Willing to work extra hours as needed to get the work done.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
